IT is surprising that some prospective councillors in the upcoming Tenterfield Shire Council elections have not made any contact details public on the electoral commission’s website.
How can the residents of the shire canvas the prospective councillors to discuss their vision for our shire if candidates cannot be contacted?
Having attended council monthly meetings for the last 1.5 years, I find it somewhat perplexing that some of the candidates have not attended same.
How can they be in touch with the workings of council and the community if they are not interested in attending?
