Fans of the Channel 9 renovation show will get the chance to meet two of Australia's favourite tradies Dale Vine and Brad Cranfield when they stop in to Tenterfield Mitre 10 on Wednesday, March 19, from 3-6pm.
The boys will be meeting and greeting locals and will put some of the attendees through their paces when it comes to ‘doing it yourself’.
Jason Ash from Tenterfield Mitre 10 said it will be a big day for the town.
“I think we need to get word out and about – Yamba did it and they got 200-300 people along,” Mr Ash said. “We’ll be holding a sausage sizzle which the Lions group will run and we’ll do a Block challenge.
“There will be in store specials – so hopefully they’ve finished all the roadwork’s out front,” he said.
Initially from the 2012 series, the guys have become reality darlings in the recent Block season which has pitted ‘fans v faves’.
Dale — a landscaper from Victoria who originally competed with his wife, Sophie, lost to Brad and his wife, Lara.
Mr Ash said the popularity of the pair would hopefully be enough to pull a crowd.
