Tenterfield Public Library will be conducting an amnesty on overdue books throughout April with members not to be charged overdue fees from Tuesday, April 1 through to Wednesday, April 30.
The neatly coined ‘Amnesty April’ will give library patrons a chance to return long overdue books without penalty.
Subsequently the library will be able to make these resources available to the whole of the community once again.
Anonymous returns of Library items such as books, DVD's and CD's are welcomed and may be placed in the returns chute alongside the front door of the Library or left at the front counter, where items will be registered as returned and all late fee's waived.
