An Englishman, a Taiwanese man and a Japanese man were stopped by police on the Jennings and Wallangarra border and were found to have cannabis, hash cookies and LSD caps in their possession.
The tourists were driving on Tenterfield Street in Wallangarra when stopped by police about 4.30pm on Thursday last week.
Officers searched the car, locating 160g of cannabis in clip seal bags in the boot.
Five hash cookies, some brass cone pieces and five LSD capsules were also found in the vehicle.
The Japanese man was charged with possessing a dangerous drug and possession of utensils.
The English national and the Taiwan national, both 29, were also charged with possession of a dangerous drug.
They are due to front Stanthorpe Magistrates Court next month.
