A MAN in his mid-twenties had to be transported to Gold Coast Hospital after he suffered a serious head injury on Sunday.

The Lismore Westpac Helicopter crew responded to the incident.
Local paramedics responded to a call out to Bald Rock National Park where it is believed the man suffered the injuries while riding a skateboard.
The incident happened around 3.45pm.
He was transported to Prince Albert Memorial Hospital before later being taken to the Gold Coast by Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Service.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said he was taken their in a “serious condition” suffering from head injuries.
