Jackson Kings, Emily Butler and Chloe Butler joined approximately 400 riders aged between 8 and 21-years-of-age from July 8 – 12.
The championships comprised of 3 separate rodeos at Nabiac, Gloucester and Wingham.
The three locals have been competing at the championships which involve campdrafting, stock riding and sporting events for the past four years.
Jackson Kings placed 1st in the 15 and under 17’s draft at Gloucester winning the Deborah Patterson Memorial Trophy and achieved overall reserve campdraft champion for his age group.
He also achieved success after winning the stockrider at both Nabiac and Wingham making him overall champion stockrider for the 15 and under 17’s age group.
Emily Butler had success in the sporting events winning overall champion for the 15 and under 17 age group in the bonfield bounce and reserve champion in the flag race and also obtaining under 17 highest point score at Gloucester.
Chloe Butler also had success in the sporting events coming reserve champion for the under 13s at Nabiac and highest point score for her age group at Gloucester.
She won the overall champion in the bonfield bounce and flag race and reserve champion in the bending race and bend-bar-aft.
She also won the best of the best flag race and was named the overall highest point score sporting champion for the week winning the Grahame Wisemantel Memorial trophy.
