A team of four from the car dealership has spent the past six weeks putting the final touches on a Chrysler hearse that is set to be sent to Nashville in the United States.
The car will be the only Australian vehicle showcased at the 2014 National Funeral Directors Association International Convention and Expo in Nashville, Tennessee come October.
“We’ve been getting asked to come over for a few years now,” Troy Hillier said.
“We were asked this time and thought the timing was right,” he said.
It’s the biggest Expo of its kind in the world with an expected 15,000 funeral directors in attendance.
“We are the only Chrysler hearse builders in the world,” Troy said.
“In America they have Lincoln and Cadillac but no one does Chrysler.
“We’ll be the first from Australia to ever try this."

Mr Hillier said it would give them an opportunity to broaden their market and attract new buyers.
“There will be buyers from over 40 countries there – we are hoping to get more into the Asian market,” he said.
The car started its journey yesterday and isn’t expected to arrive in the States for another six weeks.
Troy and brother, Clayton, will head over to Nashville for the event and say they hope they can intrigue enough buyers into purchasing at least 40 cars.
