The Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Service was tasked ti a property west of Tenterfield on Sunday after reports a man was severely injured from the incident.
The 75-year-old is believed to have been on a tractor when it rolled leaving him with serious injuries to his chest and arm.
It's believed the mans daughter alerted emergency services to the accident.
A Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said the man was rushed from the property to Tenterfield Hospital.
"The patient was transported from the scene to Tenterfield Hospital by local paramedics," the spokesperson said.
"The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter paramedic and doctor further stabilised the patient at Tenterfield Hospital before being flown to Lismore Base Hospital."
The man is understood to be in a stable condition.
