The crash killed the local mother and seriously injured her two daughters six months ago.
Victorian woman Bronya Schoner, 36, made a brief appearance in the Warwick Magistrates Court last week via video link from a Brisbane jail.
She is charged with the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm after a crash at the intersection of Whiskey Gully Rd and the New England Highway in February.
Schoner is alleged to have been driving on the wrong side of the road when she ploughed into the Tenterfield family's car.
She has been in police custody since February.
The woman was refused bail in April after Justice Peter Applegarth suggested she was a risk to the community.
Schoner’s bid for bail was rejected in the Brisbane Supreme Court by Justice Applegarth who claimed the accused could pose a public risk if “things in her life started to go wrong” and she got behind the wheel.
Crown prosecutor Dennis Kinsella said Schoner had a poor driving history spanning three states.
Schoner was driving with a suspended license at the time of the crash.
The court case was adjourned to a later date.
