Hundreds of ‘bashers’ rolled through town in their cars last Wednesday and Thursday before heading off on their final leg to Noosa.
Beginning their journey in Melbourne, the Variety Bash passed through Sydney, Armidale before hitting Tenterfield.
The group were hosted at the Memorial Hall for a dinner and a breakfast before jetting off.
“We really enjoyed coming through Tenterfield – it was one of the most welcoming towns,” Variety Bash organiser Lachie Pitman said.
“It was unanimous amongst the group that Emmaville and Tenterfield were our favourite stops along the way."

“A lot of our bashers said they were going to go back to the town – it was a good bit of publicity for the Tenterfield and us,” he said.
Over the years the Victorian Variety Bash has clocked up over 100,000 kilometres in their fundraising endeavours.
This year’s trip saw 260 participants take the road in 85 cars in what is becoming a huge annual event.
The group has raised over $18 million for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children over the years.
