The Tenterfield contingent travelled to Inverell for the Northern Zone 13 Interclub Gymkhana where a number of their riders attained honours.
“Despite the extreme heat conditions Tenterfield riders should be very proud of their achievements,” Roberta Koch from the club said.
The event was the final interclub for the year between Tenterfield, Emmaville, Glen Innes and Inverell.

Tenterfield’s club has been boosted by success this year following on from hosting the NSW State Sporting and Camp Drafting Championships in April.
“The sponsorship for the event was very generous,” Ms Koch said.
“We would also like to acknowledge the hard work of our members and volunteers and the generous time and support given by our past members and local life members.
“We’d also like to thank our cattle donors and the Tenterfield Campdraft Club for helping run a very successful campdraft,” she said.
On Friday, January 2 the club will host a championship ‘thank you’ barbecue at the showgrounds from 6pm.
“All are invited that helped support and run the NSW State Sporting Championships,” Roberta said.
