About 2.50am, two men entered a home on Sugarbag Road. 

Police have been told the men then assaulted a man and woman in the home, both aged in their 60’s, before leaving the premises in a four-door 4WD, described as a late model white Toyota Hilux or Nissan ute.

Nothing was taken from the home.

Emergency services were called and the injured pair was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics, the man being treated for a cut to his head and the woman received grazes to her arm.

Officers attached to Richmond Local Area Command attended and commenced investigating the incident.
