AN elderly couple have endured a frightening attack after two men forced their way into their residence last Wednesday.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, two men entered a home on Sugarbag Rd near Tabulam where they attacked a couple aged in their sixties.
Police say they are yet to find any leads in the home invasion but are issuing a plea for people to come forward with any information that may assist inquiries.
Police say the men assaulted a man and woman in the home before leaving the premises in a four-door 4WD, described as a late model white Toyota Hilux or Nissan Ute.
It’s not known whether the victims knew their attackers but nothing was stolen during the events.
Emergency services were called and the injured pair was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics.
Officers attached to Richmond Local Area Command attended and commenced investigating the incident.
