It is great to see so many new players in all age groups and commitment of players from previous seasons.
This year we will field under 8 coach/trainer Lawrence Zappa, Bruce Binge under 10, Scott Koch and Peter Holley under 12, Scott Bates and Reg Cusack under 13, Mark Koch and Ray Sargeant under 16 and Dave Landers and Keven Mooney.
All players are training the house down so early in the season and should be congratulated on their courage and keenness as many of the boys are stepping up into older age groups which will hold them in good stead for future seasons.
The club is still taking registrations and will continue to do so until early June.
The season commences on March 28 and concludes September 5 with semi-finals to be held at Rugby League Park in Tenterfield.
The club is very grateful to all those who have helped with working bees in the past few weeks, canteen ladies Jennifer and Sharon, first aid Nikki Saccon and finally Polly Sargeant and the Liebermans.
A big thank you to Glen and Lisa Curry for allowing us to use their tent over the past few weeks as temperatures reached will above 30 degrees at Texas and was much appreciated by players and coaching staff.
Looking forward to hearing the Bears roar in 2015.
