TENTERFIELD Police have called on the community to alert them to suspicious activity after more individuals fronted court on property offences.

"Tenterfield Police would also like to remind the community that you can report suspicious activity anonymously," Police Inspector Garry Huard said.
"With recent arrests we hope the community are confident that police will investigate all crimes and place the offenders before the courts," he said.
Recent court results from June 24 at Tenterfield Local Court include:
- A 27 year old Tenterfield man pleaded guilty to one charge of maliciously damaging property. The matter has been adjourned for sentencing at a later date.
- A 20 year old man pleaded guilty to the offences of common assault, custody of a knife in a public place, stalking and intimidation with intent to cause fear and behaving in an offensive manner. The man was dealt with under the Mental Health Act and will be subject to a 2 year supervisory bond with conditions.
- A 40 year old man was sentenced for the offence of never licensed person drive vehicle on road and he was disqualified from driving for three years, and is subject to a 12 month bond.
- A 42 year old female was sentenced for the offences of 2 x counts of contravening an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The female was sentenced to a conditional 12 month bond, 100 hours of community service and a domestic violence direction was recorded.
- A 35 year old female faced court for the offences of resist/hinder police in execution of their duty and she was sentenced to 100 hours community service.
- A 44 year old man faced court for the offence of driving with a low range prescribed concentration of alcohol and the matter has been adjourned to a later date for sentencing.
- A 26 year old male faced court for sentencing for the offences of assault police, contravening an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order, common assault, 2 x counts of behaving in an offensive manner and destroy/damage property. The man was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment, suspended on entering a 2 year bond with conditions, and $150 fine.
- A child faced Tenterfield Children’s Court and pleaded guilty to 3 x counts of aggravated break and enter in company, and 1 x count of aggravated break and enter with intent in company. The boy will return to court at a later date for sentencing.
- A child faced Tenterfield Children’s Court for 2 x counts of larceny and 3 x counts of goods in custody. The matter has been adjourned to a later date.
- A child faced Tenterfield Local Court for the offences of stalking and intimidation, breach of bail, and 2 x counts of goods in custody. The matter has been adjourned for sentencing.
