Organised by Alford and Duff with Linda and Glen Martin, Sixpence Park, the sale bucked the British trend so prevalent on the New England Tablelands and featured eight small studs showing 31 bulls, five heifers, six cows and one cow with calf.
Emerging digital sales team Live Bidding helped promote the auction.
Sydney Royal Simmental champion Sixpence Park Kalechi, at 26 months, 1070kg, fetched $9000 going to Clayton Hattam, Booral NSW, bidding in the stands at the Silver Downs venue.
Digital interest followed the bidding to $8000.

Volume buyers Robyn and Brian Kelly, ‘Dunrobin’ Tenterfield chose Glenlea Charolais to provide muscularity to their F1 Brahman cross on harder Eastern Fall country, bidding to a top of $4000 for 34 month old Glenlea Joberg.
“They’re tougher than you think,” said Robyn of the Charolais breed.
An equal number of Charolais bulls went to Heronwood Agriculture, Dorrigo.
Sixpence Park sold all of its three black Simmental bulls with 21 month old Sixpence Park Kimba fetching $8000 and 18 month old Sixpence Park Koonoo selling for $6250.
