We had a very successful run to the Ballandean Tavern for lunch attended by 30 members in 14 classic club cars. The mid-month run was taken to Queen Mary Falls near Killarney and attended by nine members.
These runs have been organised by member Les Willard and give members further opportunities to use their old cars. New members are always welcome but remember your car must be 30 years old. Contact President Warwick on 6736 3445.

Model: 1971 Volkswagon 1600
Owner: John Hampson
History: When John originally bought this car from a girl in Warialda it was painted purple and in need of a major overhaul.
He completely stripped the car inside and out, repainting it in a more-appropriate green colour. The motor was restored mechanically and he acquired a new set of upholstery from the USA.
It was a huge job but he has finished with an excellent almost-as-new car.
