Mr Booth said it would be business as usual as far as New England Service delivery is concerned, including the ‘Partners in Recovery’ program delivered in Tenterfield by the Benevolent Society. Flourish Australia is also a provider of mental health supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as the NDIS rolls out across the New England
“One in four people will have a lived experience of a mental health issue at some stage in their life,” Flourish Australia New England Manager Jim Booth said.
“‘Flourish Australia’ has a positive and optimistic feel and is a good way of expressing what we’re all about. In short, we support people living with a mental health issue to flourish. It is truly rewarding when we see people we work with achieve their recovery goals with support from our community-based services.”
RichmondPRA was a transitional name combined from the Richmond Fellowship of NSW and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Australia (PRA), which merged in 2012.
