Principal Scott Koch thanked the support staff for their invaluable assistance and contributions they give the school every day in all areas.
“Admin staff as well as teacher aides are often the first point of contact for parents and the wider community. Without their contribution the school would not run as smoothly and effectively as it now does,” he said.
Support staff are on hand to smooth many aspects of school life, often behind the scenes where their work doesn’t always receive the acknowledgment it deserves. Wallangarra students made sure this wasn’t the case at their school, with their support staff receiving certificates of appreciation, as well a gift. They include groundsman Tim Grimmond, teacher aides Angela Campbell and Jody Lieberman, admin officer/teacher aide Jenny Lutter and school chaplain Amanda Wartnaby.
