It was a sell-out crowd at the Tenterfield Theatre on Monday when Dinosaur Zoo came to town. While one disappointed showgoer thought the dinosaurs were going to be real, the experience proved educational in many respects with interesting facts presented in an age-appropriate manner. Some of the youngsters thought the intricate puppets a little too realistic.

The theatre’s Harry Bolton said this was the first time he’d had to turn people away at the door, which he very much regretted. He said he’d love to have more children’s shows come to the theatre, especially during school holidays, but it was very difficult to book them.
