All regular buyers were present and operated in a dearer market.
A small yarding of mixed quality steers sold to 383.2 cents, while bullocks were very limited in numbers with the best reaching 276.2 cents.
Cow numbers continued to decrease this week with heavy cows reaching 274.2 cents, medium weight cows sold to 266.2 cents, while the light cows topped at 249.2 cents.
An improved yarding of heifers sold to 345.2 cents.
The trade section continued to make up the bulk of the yarding, with restockers continuing to be the major strength. Light weight Angus steers returned to the paddock for a record breaking 493.2 cents, while the heifer portion sold to 392.2 cents. A larger yarding of bulls sold to 286.2 cents.
