Nominations for the NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards are now open, and community members are being encouraged to nominate a young person who is achieving great results or who is actively involved in the local or broader community. The nomination alone could make the world of difference to a young person’s confidence and inspire them to continue their good work.

The current NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year, Grace Liley spoke at the recent launch of the awards about the importance of recognising our young people and the difference it can make to their self worth.
"Nominate someone, it could really make a difference," Grace said.
Nominations are being sought throughout NSW and ACT until December 15 in the following categories:
The Coffee Clubs Arts and Fashion Award
First National Real Estate Leadership Award
Freemasons of NSW/ACT Community Service Award
Aboriginal Education Council Aboriginal Education Award
WHO Printing Environment Award
Awards Australia Small Business Achiever Award
The NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards will culminate with a Gala Presentation Dinner held at SMC Conference & Function Centre on March 24 next year. Category winners will each receive $2500 thanks to Masonicare and a magnificent trophy.
One of the six category winners will be chosen as the NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year and will win an additional $5000 from Masonicare and a state trophy.
