The roadshow presents a full day program on arts project development, planning and delivery for artists, arts organisations and community groups. This is a hands-on workshop which covers the development of a project from its concept to budgets and timelines.
It’s also a great opportunity to connect and network with artists and art organisations in the region.
The morning is devoted to developing the Project Brief, focussing on scoping the project or event, the who/what/when/why, with an overview of event promotion and marketing. An hour is then scheduled for the Project Budget, with what to include, what resources might be required and how to balance the budget.
The afternoon session tackles the Project Plan, looking at risk assessments, the how, checklists and setting up a timeline.
The full day program cost $50 including handouts, morning tea and lunch, and it’s on Wednesday, November 16 at the Tenterfield School of Arts. Go to www.artsnw.com.au or phone (02) 6732 4988 for more information.
