Teenie Dove turned 90 this month, celebrating the milestone with a celebration at the Tenterfield Bowling Club along with around 90 guests.

These included her three sons Stephen, Peter and John, sisters Heather and Pat and brother Gordon, along with many nieces, nephews cousins and local friends. Guests came from far and wide including Brisbane, Central Coast, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Her nephew Robert Bourke travelled from Sydney and played a melody of music which provided great entertainment for all.
Mrs Dove was married to Tenterfield boy Harold whose father Fred owned the local taxi service for many years. He also owned the land where the ‘pink place’ now sits on the corner of Miles and Rouse Streets.
Mrs Dove was born in Emmaville and settled in Tenterfield at her Miles Street home approximately 70 years ago.
