The Short Fuses have made it straight into the grand final thanks to a cracking game on Wednesday night. After winning the toss, they sent the KLAS Bouncers in to bat before stunning their opposition with some fierce bowling. Matt Ware bowled Nathan Brownrigg out for a golden duck off the first ball and by the third wicket, the Bouncers had only managed a mere 12 runs. Danny Potter and Damien Connor, formed a solid partnership contributing 19 and 14 runs to the total. Brendan Minns and Pat Skinner also helped the Bouncers claw their way back into the game with 16 runs apiece, leaving them 9/113. Shaun Merchant was the star bowler for the Short Fuses taking 2 wickets whilst conceding only 3 runs. The second innings saw the Short Fuses up to bat, proving too strong for the opposition with 5/117, as Shaun Merchant hit 23 runs and Daniel Puglisi 22. The young fellas bowled well for the KLAS Bouncers with Tyler Sargeant bowling 2/7 and Matt Savins 1/4.
