Prior to the Easter break Tenterfield High School students spent time in their lessons discussing the importance of Harmony Day.
While chatting about what we can give and take from each other's cultures, they produced wonderful symbols of harmonious interaction with multicoloured paper dolls. Everyone enjoyed an activity at the end of the day where our dollies were strung out together across the student community.
Principal Sandra Rosner thanked Helen Clothier for instigating this event, and staff members and students for their enthusiastic participation.
Student Support Officer Roberta Koch used the theme of Harmony Day to introduce an anti-bullying message to students. For National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence - Bullying No Way! day students enjoyed a photo booth funded by the Student Representative Council.
