I was unfortunate to have taken ill on Easter Saturday while staying at a property on the New Mole Rd. The ambulance men were very comforting after their epic journey on what they said was the worst road they had ever travelled on.
I was kept in Tenterfield until the Monday and then transferred to Toowoomba by ambulance officers Nick and his wife who took extremely good care of me in horrendous driving conditions, with it being Easter Monday.
Once again I am very grateful for the care that was given to me.

Still a home for country music, with growing support for monthly get-togethers
With reference to the article on 26th April 2017 “Community Country Music disbands – Time to hang up the picks”, while this particular group may have disbanded, it by no means signals the demise of community country music.
For over 10 years another group has been coming together on the first Saturday of each month to enjoy and play country music, and far from declining, support has been steadily growing.
Meeting under the banner of ‘Steve’s Country’, participants regularly travel from Toowoomba, Rosewood, Warwick, Stanthorpe, Casino and many other areas to join with locals for an afternoon of good entertainment and friendship. The get-together has had a few homes over the years, with the Uniting Church Hall, (cnr. High Street and Logan Road) the current venue. While the theme is strongly traditional country, everyone, walk-up artists and audience, is made very welcome. The modest entry fee includes a great afternoon tea to add to the enjoyment of the afternoon, which kicks off at 1pm and goes through to about 5:30pm.

We’re the source of the problem, not inadequate filtering
Social media fans can, and do, watch murders, suicides and rapes live.
Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, concedes that his video-streaming service caters for “the most personal and emotional and raw and visceral” communication.
YouTube and Twitter appeal to similar instincts.
Top political science commentator, Dr Jennifer Oriel, when asked why she doesn’t use Twitter, said it’s because Twitter is in the main “a brutal medium”.
Isn’t she right?
She’s right not to use it.
So should we all not….
At least not until everybody starts loving their neighbour as it says in the Book.
Inadequate filtering technologies certainly aren’t the problem.
We are the problem.

Thanks for listening
I would like to say thank you to all the people who have listened and supported my radio show on Sundays for the last six years.
The Ten FM programming committee have pulled me off air, they deemed my show not suitable.I do not know what the future will hold for me and Ten FM. Only time will tell.
But once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all that listened. I really enjoyed entertaining you and myself at the same time.
The Y.MAN has left the building.
Again,take care. Cheers.
