Preparation, planning and the final conduct of Anzac Day services would certainly not be possible each year without the ongoing commitment of local businesses and individuals from the community. On behalf of the Tenterfield RSL Sub Branch we would like to pass on our sincere thanks to the following people: Kelvin Waugh of Mt McKenzie Free Range Eggs, Huey and Gay Campbell of Tenterfield Milk Supply, Shane Rose Wizards Butchery's, Danny Little and team from Work Force Road Services, community volunteers who assist with the Gunfire breakfast, Julie Thompson of the Coachman Coffee Lounge, Sandy Dobbs of Tenterfield Bakery, Scott and team from the Bowling Club Greenview Restaurant, Pam Sammut and Jim Seymour from the Ministers Fraternal, Tom Murphy and Brian Curry for their vintage jeeps, the New England Veteran and Vintage Car Club, Ray Warn of Tenterfield Taxis, Rosemary Boyle for her musical support, Drew Bates and young Axel for singing the National Anthem, Murray Hovey for his bugler support, Peter Petty Mayor - Dawn Service address, Coral Donnelly - Commemorative Service address, Tenterfield Shire Council for the necessary road closure permits, Tenterfield Police, John Munro, Steve Charlton and Peter Cowley for the conduct and donations from the Two Up game and to the Tenterfield Star for its continued support and coverage of Anzac Day.
To the veterans, community, organisations and schools we also pass on our sincere thanks for being involved so that this day will continue to remember those who have paid the supreme sacrifice in the service of our nation for the freedom that we enjoy today. By this involvement we will continue to ensure and see the carriage of the Anzac Spirit by future generations.
Once again thank you.
