WJ’s Moree has been in existence since 1954 making it the oldest farm machinery business in Moree.
It’s a third generation, family-owned and managed business that employs 40 people across two branches – Moree and Narrabri.
Sales representative Andrew Legge said a good winter crop last year spurred machinery sales.
“We’ve sold quite a few new tractors, sprayers and spreaders recently,” he said.
Despite the season drying off there was still a host of planting and pre-planting activity like spraying happening across the region.
“Amazone’s new ZA-V series of linkage-mounted spreaders are aimed at those who want to step up from an older style spreader,” Mr Legge said. “It’s got all the bells and whistles.”
The EasySet operating system delivers precision spreading at the touch of a button.
The PTO-driven configuration features a new, in-cab terminal that provides one-touch electronic control of all spreader functions.
“With no hydraulic connections, the ZA-V Easy can be quickly mounted and dismounted,” Mr Legge said.
