On offer this year will be 114 horned polled bulls and six heifers.
This year there will be 22 vendors – three of which are first time vendors to the sale, with some from southern NSW and Victoria.
Judging of single bulls, pen of three and pen of six will start at 1pm, Thursday, July 27, at the Glen Innes Saleyards. The sale will start at 11am, Friday, July 28, immediately followed by the females. Bulls are sold in two runs from each vendor starting with last year’s highest average vendors.
Vendors and guests are invited to attend a barbecue dinner Thursday night after to show at the New England Club where the colour ads in the catalogue are auctioned for the next year, plus there’s a mystery auction for the Northern Hereford Youth Group.
Last year a new record top price was set at $45,000 by Battalion Black Hawk K7 (H), Battalion Herefords, Dundee.
