Tenterfield tourism officer Caitlin Reid said the former banker turned ‘digital influencer’ couldn’t praise the area enough for its tourism potential, and this is a woman who has visited every key destination in Australia in the course of her work, and is well-travelled internationally as well. In fact she’s off to Singapore at the end of the week on another assignment.
Caitlin said Reichlyn was particularly amazed by Bald Rock, which she climbed in order to take in the great views from the top. Peter Reid and Kevin Santin (taking a break from his stage duties) also participated in the Instameet, although not climbing the rock this time.
Peter, Caitlin, Kim Thompson and Shayle Graham also joined Reichlyn at Mount Mackenzie for sunrise over the township the next morning, but unfortunately cloud cover spoiled the view.
Still the Instagrammer captured great photos during her stay to share with her 37,000 followers, some of whom have already left comments about the beautiful scenery and plans to visit, which was the aim of the exercise.
Some of the images will be included in the Tenterfield True launch, from 6-8pm at the Tenterfield School of Arts. Some seats are still available, but Caitlin asked for anyone who hasn’t already RSVPed to please call her on 0459 148 745.
