On the weekend of September 8, 9 and 10 Tenterfield will have 30 or more vintage cars setting off on the New England Veteran and Vintage Car Club’s biennial rally. Entrants are coming from all directions – Brisbane, the coast, Tamworth to Goondiwindi – to have fun exploring corners of our beautiful shire.

Local community groups have been drafted to cater for breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the event.
The curious and the fanatical have an opportunity to check out the participating vehicles on display at the rear of Memorial Hall on the Saturday afternoon. Rally participants will have a lunch break from around midday to 2 pm and take in the Spring Flower Show in the hall hosted by at the Horticultural Club.
The rally cars will also be at the Tenterfield Railway Museum markets on the Sunday morning.
People are encouraged to come along and view these magnificent vintage and veteran vehicles, and the proud owners will be more than happy to talk about their pride and joy.
