Tenterfield Shire Council is advising residents and businesses that contractors will be commencing works at the park to enhance the usability and safety of the ramp. Works are scheduled to continue through until Friday, September 1, weather permitting.
During these works, alternate ramp access to council offices and Bruxner Park is available from carparks adjoining the main Council building.
Council’s Property & Environmental Service manager David Stewart said the hairpin turn in the ramp will be opened up to ease access for different sized scooters.
