The Ducks final score was 143 which was more than enough to beat the Bouncers 6/121. Jayson Murphy had a cracking game scoring 57 runs, as well as managing two catches for the Ducks.
Ben Austin and Ella Wishart also took two wickets apiece against the Bouncers. The Bouncers, played valiantly with only nine men but even with 25 runs from Danny Potter and Tyler Sargeant contributing three wickets, it still wasn't quite enough.
Thursday night's game was unfortunately called off due to the weather.
The Tenterfield District Cricket Association would also like to extend our condolences to the family, friends and team-mates of Bruce Binge from the Telegraph Slammers.
We would like to invite all fellow players, and anyone else interested to join us at 6pm on Friday November 3 for a 20/20 cricket match to raise funds for his family.
