Concrete Labourers

Our client is a leading civil services contractor that has proudly delivered exceptional quality projects since 1985. They are committed to innovation which has enabled them to continually invest in the latest industry leading machinery for efficient and sustainable project delivery. Their equipment enables precision concrete extrusion for increased productivity, reducing construction time while delivering cost savings.

They are currently seeking suitably experienced concreters, or concrete labourers with a keen interest to join their expanding Slipform WA project with an immediate start and a potential for ongoing permanent work.

The role:

• Erecting concrete form work and laying steel reinforcing
• Pouring, spreading, and levelling concrete using screeds and templates
• Tamping, smoothing, shaping, and sealing concrete
• Operating trowelling machines to float, trowel, and polish concrete surfaces
• Forming expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straight edges

The requirements:

• White card
• Current driver's license, truck license highly regarded
• Reliable and hard working with a strong commitment to safety policies and procedures
• Great work ethic with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
• Previous industry experience in road projects, constructing concrete pavements/Slipform construction
