The Role
Our Client based at Sunnybank Hills is a leading Manufacturer of Cable Support Systems to the Electrical and Construction sectors. We have a vacancy for a Dispatch & Goods Receiving Coordinator with previous experience in either a Steel Manufacturing, Heavy Industry Warehouse, Construction , Mining or Freight Forwarding of ugly loads.

This role would not suit anyone with DC experience picking cube or pallet loads due to the lengths and different shapes and designs of their product. The ideal candidate will have experience within a freight forwarding role where priority loading and accuracy as well as team work are of utmost importance.

Duties:

• Load and Unload Local, Regional and Interstate Trucks raging from company utes and vans, body trucks and B-Doubles.
• Movement of stock between warehouse/ production/fabrication locations.
• Creation of loads for dispatch, final inspection of outbound freight to ensure accuracy and safety, and sign off dispatch of carriers from site.
• Communicating obstacles and challenges in the timely delivery of products with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting in the ongoing management of accurate inventory management by participating in stock-take and goods returns as required
• Checking the goods, we received on site for quality & quantity
• Working closely with the Production Department to make sure we communicate when the goods arrived.
• General warehouse duties as directed.
• Miscellaneous ad hoc duties as directed by Warehouse Supervisor .
• Maintenance and tidying of facilities at completion of shift .

Requirements to succeed:

· Valid Forklift ticket.

· Experience with difficult loads.

· Demonstrated work history loading and unloading ugly freight.

· Demonstrated experience with 6 metre steel lengths.

· Works well in a team/ individually.

· Able to complete repetitive tasks.

· Own transport.
