As a teacher at Goodstart Harristown you will inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. Goodstart Early Learning Harristown has a wonderful and rewarding Early Childhood Teacher position available to join their Team. This Centre is part of a unique initiative being run by Goodstart offering an intensive, integrated approach to Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO).

What is EChO?

Our EChO initiative is a targeted approach within Goodstart’s Social Inclusion Strategy that builds on our universally available early learning and care programs. The approach uses an Enhanced Service Delivery Model to provide wrap around intensive and sustainable resources to Goodstart Early Learning Centres located in communities where children are more vulnerable to poor outcomes.

You’ll help achieve this by :  

• Having a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education OR Studying Towards
• Having passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program
• Having initiative to drive innovation within the Centre
