Not realising she played so well Julie Gale was the winner with 40 points. Janice Wharton a visitor from Boomarang Park got runner up with 39 points.
Pat Whalan won the front nine and June Williams the back nine. Another visitor Maddie Jarman from Stanthorpe won nearest-the-pin in division 1 and Lorraine Moore won division 2. The ball run down went to Jenny Hurtz and Di Benson.
Saturday was a stroke event for the Frances Keatinge Memorial trophy. With a great score of 67 nett Noela Edmonds was the winner. June Williams got runner up with a 71 nett.
Julie Gale won the front nine and Kath Devereuux the back nine. A regular visitor Petah Oberman won nearest-the-pin. Petah also featured in the ball run down with Robyn Eastgate.
Also last Wednesday some of our ladies travelled to Glen Innes for the NEDGA Fourball. Letitia Jones and Marie Cook did well to win the scratch event. Well done ladies.
Today we are playing for the monthly medal and putting and Federation salver. Saturday is also monthly medal and putting.
The following week is taken up with Veterans Week of Golf then Saturday, October 12 is a stableford event for a club trophy.
