PARTS of South Australia transformed into a winter wonderland on Saturday as a cold front made its way across the state.
Snow fell in higher parts of the Mid North, around Jamestown, Hallett and Peterborough, and in Mount Lofty.
The cold snap saw temperatures plummet with some towns experiencing maximum temperatures as little as five degrees.
Yongala, in the state's Mid North, experienced a maximum of just 5.9 degrees by 3pm on Saturday.
