Tenterfield Junior Rugby League Club has capped off a successful season with presentations at its clubhouse on Saturday morning. This season both the girls leaguetag and Under 11s made the final series, with the latter claiming the grand final to break a 29 year premiership drought.

Standouts in each of the Tigers teams were acknowledged during the ceremony, as follows.
Under 8s
Timana Tandy (most valuable), Toby Battersby (most improved), Hinata Inoue (coach’s award) and Ava Mitchell (encouragement award).
Under 9s
Oska Zappa (most valuable), Liam Pitkin (most improved), Elly Petrie (coach’s award) and Bryce Riley (encouragement award).
Under 10s
Malik Wightman (most valuable), Coby Roots (most improved) and Taj Chapman (coach’s award and encouragement award).
Leaguetag
Abbey O’Neill (most valuable), Gabbi Saccon (most improved), Chloe Smith (coach’s award) and Arliah Montague (encouragement award).
Under 11s
Fletcher Koch (most valuable), Braith Clark (best back), Will Holley (best forward), Jackson O’Neill (most improved) and Maddison Riley (coach’s award).
Under 12s
Ethan Sweeney (most valuable), Luke Preston (best back), Kane Roots (best forward), Darcy Roots (most improved) and Luke Bates (coach’s award).
Under 14s
Tyler Sargeant (most valuable), Kynan Koch (best back), Luke Pitkin (best forward), Billy Henry (most improved) and Bede Aquilini (coach’s award).
Under 16s
Fraser Saccon (most valuable), Jacc Pittis Wilson (best back), Jacob Cox (best forward), Kurt Frattin (most improved) and Sam Gibbins (coach’s award).
Players that were selected for the Macintyre representative teams were also acknowledged with a certificate.
Making the under 35kg squad were Oska Zappa, Jahkeem Binge, Tas Cusack, Jake Murphy and Jake Gibbins. The team was named runner-up of the carnival after a close match again Wynnum to determine the winner.
The under 43kg also came second overall in its carnival at Lightning Ridge. Tigers making the Macintyre team were Fletcher Koch, Braith Clark, Jimi Henry, Georgia Battersby, Will Holley, Toby Lieberman, Luke Preston, Jackson O’Neill and Luke Bates.
Trophies were presented to those who made selection for the Warwick & District representative teams. They were (Under 11s) Braith Clark, Will Holley, Jackson O’Neill and Fletcher Koch; (Under 12s) Luke Preston, Luke Bates and Ethan Sweeney; (Under 13s) Issac Jones; (Under 14s) Luke Pitkin; (Under 16s) Jacc Pittis Wilson, Jacob Cox, Sam Gibbins, Fraser Saccon and Jordan Kelly.
Peter Holley remains club president following the Annual General Meeting which was held before the presentations. He said he is looking forward to next season being even bigger and better than this one.
