That troop of youngsters walking the streets on Monday, November 13 was actually an excursion being enjoyed by The Sir Henry Parkes Memorial Public School kindies.

The children and carers dropped in on Centenary Cottage for a look around, before progressing onto Tenterfield Library. There librarian Skye Staplement entertained the children with some storytelling (including that of the antics of an unexpected libearian) before a tour of the library facilities.
The kindies then lunch at Jubilee Park before heading out to Arrajay Downs farms for the afternoon.
Older students from stages 1 and 2 will be undertaking their excursion on Monday, November 27, when they will visit the mayor at council chambers and other operations around town.
