The forum will also be an opportunity for council staff to showcase some of the work currently being undertaken in relation to its Community Strategic Plan’s theme of Our Environment.
The three primary environmental goals adopted within its Community Strategic Plan include:
- Our natural environment will be protected, enhanced and promoted for future generations.
- Environmental risks and impacts are strategically managed.
- Secure, sustainable and environmentally sound infrastructure and services underpin Council service delivery.
Be it waste, noxious weeds or environmental and natural resource management issues, council representatives are keen to hear about it.
Council says it’s committed to delivering responsible and sustainable services to all its towns and villages, and providing equitable access for engagement with all its community members, so please come along and have your say.
