The speeches told parents, teachers and all other students a little about each child and their hobbies, plus what they would like to do if they were given one of the roles of school leaders if chosen by their peers and teachers.
Voting took place straight after the presentations with each child and school staff member being allowed to vote for one girl, boy and Indigenous leader.
The following five children were elected:
Boys - Jed and Charlie, Girls – Piper and Aamilyn, and Indigenous – Jayden.
During 2018 these children will assist with many jobs within the school including greeting special guests to the school, running school assemblies (including setting up and packing up the room), leading the school at the Anzac Day Parade and representing the school at Remembrance Day.
