Four beautiful juniors entered across age groups and we were so excited and very proud of the results.
Parents and club members attended the morning session to support club competitors Lara Condrick and Abbey Holley.
Lara Condrick competed strongly in her nine-year-old heat and was selected in her first ever semi-final at this level which placed her in the top 32 girls in Australia in her age group.
Abbey Holley also came out strongly and performed in her 14-year-old heat.
The afternoon session saw both Addison Gibbins and Audrey Kelly dance their hearts away.
For Audrey Kelly this was her first ever national-level competition and she performed beautifully.
Addison Gibbins gave it all and managed to dance her way through to the National Finals which placed her in the top 18 girls in the seven-year-old age group in Australia.
Teachers Jude Hayne, Stacey Hayne, Dina Pelusi and Erin Crotty, along with parents and families, watched all the girls and were amazed at the level of skill and standard of competition at this event.
All girls, parents and teachers are to be congratulated for the support and dedication given over the past year.
We now wait in anticipation for club member Erin Crotty and teacher Stacey Hayne to perform at the iconic Opera House on December 13 in their national finals for the 15 years and open senior age groups.
It is an honour for both a student and teacher to dance together on the concert hall stage.
Proud Teachers Jude Hayne and Dina Pelusi along with Mum of Erin, Jayne Crotty will be watching from the audience. Best of luck Erin and Stacey.
