Results were released on Thursday, December 14 for the 68,816 NSW students who were awarded their Higher School Certificate in 2017.
THS principal Sandra Rosner said she was very pleased with the school’s results across a diverse range of HSC subjects.
“These results show that our students are succeeding across the board at a very high level. This year our students have achieved band 5s in Agriculture, Ancient History, Advanced English, Music, PDHPE, Primary Industries and Visual Arts.
“Our music results are very impressive, with a class of three students attaining two band 6 and one band 5 result. We are very proud of these students and their teacher Ms Helen Conroy.”
As the results were released, the school held a celebratory morning tea for year 12s to share their good news with staff. Students receive their ATAR scores the following day.
