Remy received good results in the HSC and even made the HSC Honour Roll for his score in Geography.
As a result he achieved an ATAR that should guarantee his entry to a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Science at UQ.
It should stand him in good stead no matter his future path, whether that is moving to the United States to live and shoot or something closer to home.
Late last month Remy travelled to South Tweed Heads to compete in the inaugural Benchmark 3D Shootout, the first prize money shoot of its kind in Australia.
Out of a field of around 30 elite 3D archers, Remy placed 14th. After a quiet family Christmas, Remy will be heading down to rural Victoria and over to Adelaide for a number of shoots to keep in form.
On his return, he will be moving into on campus accommodation in Brisbane before jetting off to the US again for his second go at the Vegas Shoot, the biggest money shoot on the archery calendar.
This will be quickly followed by the World Archery Indoor Championships, this year held in Yankton, South Dakota.
After around two weeks in the US, Remy will head to his new home at UQ to start the next chapter of his life, which will of course include a healthy dose of archery.
