Kev came from Horseshoe Creek via Kyogle to Woodenbong where he was employed as an Inspector of Stock. He enjoyed dancing and that is where he met his future wife, Joyce Cooper, a telephonist at the Woodenbong Exchange.
They married in 1958 and had 3 children, Stephen, Terry and Wendy. They now have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Kev played cricket, golf and tennis and found being ambidextrous quite an advantage in tennis. He is a past President of the Woodenbong Golf Club and a C-Grade champion, retiring reluctantly from being an active golfer a few years ago. He shared the local mail delivery with Joyce for many years, a familiar sight on his scooter. Always a keen gardener he still enjoys pottering. He now enjoys watching lots of sport on TV and has become an armchair expert adviser.
We wish him many more birthdays and good health.
