The $6 million project is expected to be complete next month.
Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall said the building will be critical to course development across the state.
“It’s very exciting to see it all happening and to see new families coming to Armidale as a result,” he said.
“We’ll have close to 50 new employees here coming from Armidale, but the vast majority are coming from interstate.”
The project will be responsible for the development of courses and delivery at Connected Learning Centres in Glen Innes and Tenterfield.
“This will benefit them because it will have the expertise here, that can then help teach the teachers how to deliver better content,” Mr Marshall said.
“They’re very much in touch with all of our campuses on the ground to get feedback from the students and teachers about what new courses they would like to see.” The official opening will be late next month.
