A Tamworth resident or maybe a visitor won division one in Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw, snagging a cool $1.3 million.
The unregistered Tamworth entry was one of 15 division one winning entries across Australia, each of which won that amount.

The winning entry is not registered to a Players Club card, so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting them with the possibly life-changing news.
They’ll have to wait until the ticketholder makes contact to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Memories Newsagency in Tamworth Square.
“Someone will be pretty happy,” owner Dean Finlay said.
“Every newsagent would love to sell a division one winner; you’d love to do that for your customers.
“We hope it goes to someone who needs it – someone who really needs to pay a few bills and hopefully get themselves set up in life, to get ahead, someone who’s in a bit of hardship and could do with the money.”
Winning streak
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said it was the second division-one win to land in the New England region in 2018.
“In January, three mates from the Gwydir shire won more than $2 million,” he said.
In 2016, a builder in his thirties “from a tiny town near Glen Innes” became $20 million richer after winning in OzLotto.
Mr Hart said he urged all Lotto players to check their tickets as soon as possible, so the winner could be found.
“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the division one winner we’re looking for, but if you purchased an entry in the Saturday Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance,” he said.
“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The six winning numbers were 30, 19, 10, 39, 33 and 23, and the supplementary numbers were 17 and 34.
The 15 winning entries were made up of six from Victoria, four from Queensland, two from the Northern Territory and one each from NSW, Tasmania and Western Australia.
