Reduced to 12 men for more than half the match, with sin bins and send offs, Uralla managed to triumph 36-22 over the hosts.
At one stage, the Tigers had just 11 on the field and still continued their rout.
“That was probably the gutsiest effort we have had all year actually, and for a long time at Uralla,” captain-coach Josh Clark said.

“Down to 11 men, everyone stood up and we were still scoring points with 11 men so it was a pretty big achievement to win that.
“I think it was 22-6 at half-time so we came out and really bashed them and got blokes sent off and sin binned and we really just ran out of troops to increase that by a lot more.”
Uralla out-muscled Ashford but it was the side’s youngsters who impressed.
“A lot of the younger blokes stood up like Kaleb Doran and Paul Jackson had big games this weekend, Bryce Johnson and Russell Burnham,” Clark said.
“Those four blokes were the standout players and they are all under 23.
“They had a real crack this week.”
Heading into the game, Ashford were confident with a win over the high-flying Tenterfield side the week prior.
“We knew it was a big win and we talked during about it during the week, that we needed to win that one and now we turn to this weekend's game and it is an even bigger one,” Clark said.
This Saturday the Tigers are back in Uralla in a battle for top spot against Warialda.
The Wombats sit one point adrift the Tigers on the table and Clark is expecting a tough outing again.
“Pretty much every game from here to the end of the season is a big one for us,” he said.
“We are looking to control it in the middle and swing it out wide to our younger blokes and let them do their magic.”
Uralla came through the Ashford game unscathed and will line up against Warialda with a full side.
“We have no one out, full-strength, so we are ready to rumble,” Clark said.
